Lost Word of Jenny (ロストワード・オブ・ジェニー?, "Lost Word of Jenny")[2] is a map-based action video game for the Family Computer.

    Summary

    Gameplay information

The player must evade dogs, criminals, and other baddies as they go inside a monster's house, a church yard, NASA, and even a store. In the actual stages of the game, it reverts to a side scrolling view. The map mode is similar to the map mode in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game. The game was released on March 25, 1987 and gives the player three lives to solve their quest.

Lost Word of Jenny is based around the Jenny doll which was popular in Japan during that time. Jenny is a 10½ inch fashion doll produced by Takara since 1982.[3] The doll was originally known as the Takara Barbie, but became "Jenny" in 1986 after Takara ended their licensing agreement with Mattel.[3]
