Lucas Hedges (born c. 1996/1997) is an American actor, and the son of Peter Hedges. He is best known for Moonrise Kingdom, Kill the Messenger and The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Hedges was born c. 1996/1997,[2] in Brooklyn, New York,[3] and currently lives there.[4]
He is the son of the writer and scenarist Peter Hedges, and of the poet Susan Bruce. He has an older brother, Simon. Lucas also notably enjoys the east river ferry and rides it for his own amusement.
He began his acting career with an appearance in his father's film Dan in Real Life when he was 10.
