Mahabharatham is an Tamil-language mythological soap opera broadcast on Sun TV which premiered on 17 February 2013, and airs Sunday at 10AM.[1][2] The saga starts from the Adhi Parwam of Mahabharatam.

Produced by Cinevistaas Limited, the epic television series has more than 400 artists cast in various roles,[3] including OAK Sundar,[3] Poovilangu Mohan,[3] Saakshi Siva,[3] Manohar,[3] Bose Venkat,[3] Ilavarasan,[3] Bharat Kalyan,[3] Director Raja,[3] ]], Neelima Rani, Ramesh Pandey, and Bharathkumar. The show is extensively shot in and around Bangalore,[3] with studio sets which cost more than 1 crore rupees.[3]

The show entered its third year of telecast on Sun TV after completing its 100th episode,[3] which was aired on 1 February 2015.[4][5]
