Maria Luisa Gengaro

Maria Luisa Gengaro (29 June 1907 – January 1985) was an Italian art critic and historian. Appointed in 1937 as an assistant to the professor of art history and criticism, Paolo Ancone, at the Institute of Art History in the University of Milan, she left in 1957 an academic life that had disappointed her to return to teaching in high schools.
