Marius André (writer)
Marius André (5 June 1868 – 12 September 1927) was a French poet, journalist, critic and translator of French and Occitan languages.

Biography
Initially close to Frédéric Mistral's Félibrige (he was majoral in 1918), he was edited by Joseph Roumanille. Later, he was associated to Charles Maurras' Action Française. He also contributed to the Revue universelle, the Revue du siècle, etc. He was French consul in Madrid. He was married to a Polish woman.
Honors
In the garden of the chapel in Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes, his native village, a reproduction of his tombstone was inaugurated on May 7, 2011. This stele was commissioned to the local stonemason, David Vallée.
