Neocynodesmus is an extinct genus of terrestrial carnivore within the family Canidae which inhabited North America from the Oligocene to Early Miocene 30.8—-20.6 Mya existing for approximately 10.2 million years.[1]
Taxonomy
Neocynodesmus was named by Macdonald (1963). It was assigned to Canidae by Macdonald (1963) and Carroll (1988).[2][3]
