Odette Ducas

Odette Delcellier, (married name is Ducas) is a former French athlete, born November 4, 1940 at Chevrainvilliers, 1.73m in height and weighing 63 kg, she was a specialist in the Long jump, and she dominated the Long Jump in France for more than a decade.

Biography

She ran for club ASPTT Little up to 1973, and also excelled at the modern pentathlon and short sprints! She participated in the 1972 Olympics, in the Long Jump (20th place) and the pentathlon (23rd place).

  • France record holder in the pentathlon in 1968 and 1971

  • 1st France champion in long jump 1962 and from 1968 to 1973: 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973
  • 2nd silver medal in the relay 4 × 100 m at the Mediterranean Games in 1971
