Ohltown, Ohio

Ohltown is an unincorporated community in Mahoning County, in the U.S. state of Ohio.[1]

History

A post office was established at Ohltown in 1841, and remained in operation until 1902.[2] The community was named for Michael Ohl, who started a mill there in the 1810s.[3]

Notable person

James Anson Campbell, a businessperson in the steel industry, was born near Ohltown in 1854.[4]
