Paik Seung-ho (백승호, born 17 March 1997) is a South Korean footballer who plays for Spanish club FC Barcelona B as a midfielder.[1]
Club career
Born in Suwon, Paik joined Daedong Primary School, where he scored 30 goals on 18 games. On December 2009, Paik participated in a tournament held in Catalonia, Spain, as a member of South Korea U-14 team. In this tournament, his performance caught the attention of the manager of FC Barcelona youth team. On February 2010, he entered FC Barcelona youth team. On July 2011, he signed a 5-year contract with the Spanish club.[2]
On 2014, he entered FC Barcelona Juvenil A. On 2 April 2014, however, FIFA announced that Barcelona would be banned from buying players until summer 2015 after illegally signing underaged players.[3] On 10 January 2016, he played his first game after the release of the ban, playing 61 minutes and being substituted out in a 0–1 defeat against CD Ebro. On 31 January 2016, he scored his first goal for Juvenil A in the 3–0 win over Real Zaragoza.
