Palamaner or Palamaneru is a town in Chittoor district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the mandal headquarters of Palamaner mandal.[3]

Etymology
The name "Palamaner" originated from "Pallavan yeri", meaning lake dug by Pallavas. "Yeri" in Tamil means lake. Palamaner is also known as Milk City of South India.

Climate
