The Palm Desert Coyotes is an independent professional baseball team that will be based in Palm Springs, California as a part of the new California Winter League. They will play their games in a short-season schedule from January to February at Palm Springs Stadium and Boone Field in the College of the Desert campus, along with the Palm Springs Chill, Canada A's and Coachella Valley Snowbirds. The team didn't play in 2012 due to the team suspended operations, replaced by the winter league version of the Palm Springs Power. But the Coyotes will return in 2013.
