Paulo Robspierry Carreiro (Chinese: 福保羅, Cantonese pronunciation: [fʊ̄k pŏu lɔ̏ː]; born 16 January 1983), commonly known as Paulinho (Brazilian Portuguese: [pawˈlĩj̃u]; Chinese: 保連奴, Cantonese pronunciation: [pŏu lȉn nȍu]) or Paulinho Piracicaba, is a Brazilian-born Hong Kong professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder and forward for China League One club Shenzhen FC and the Hong Kong national team.[2][3]

Paulinho acquired his HKSAR passport on 31 October 2015, which means he is eligible for representing Hong Kong at international level.[3]

On 31 December 2015, Paulinho transferred to China League One side Shenzhen FC.[4]

International career

Paulinho made his international debut for Hong Kong against Myanmar on 7 November 2015 and scored his first goal against Maldives in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification – AFC Second Round on 12 November 2015
