The location of Pi2 Orionis (π2) in the constellation of Orion (shown as a red circle with a red center, above π3).

Pi2 Orionis2 Ori, π2 Orionis) is the Bayer designation for a star in the equatorial Orion constellation. It has the traditional name of Tabit (1544) and the Flamsteed designation 2 Orionis.[1] Pi2 Orionis has the following characteristics:

    • Declination: +08° 54' 00.56" [1]
  • Apparent magnitude: 4.4 [1]
  • Spectral Type: A1Vn [1]
