The Ror community is found mainly to the north of New Delhi in India with most of their villages spread across the Karnal - Kurukshetra belt of Haryana and across those districts of Western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand that are close to the Haryana border.
Social status
In the parts of Baiswara, Uttar Pradesh, that are inhabited by Ror people, they are known as Ror Thakurs and are found to be on excellent terms with the Bais Thakurs.[1]
