Russell Stuart Davis (born September 13, 1969) is a former Major League Baseball third baseman who played for the New York Yankees, Seattle Mariners, and San Francisco Giants from 1994 to 2001. A highly touted prospect in the Yankee organization, he was packaged along with Sterling Hitchcock in a December 1995 trade for Tino Martinez. Davis's best years in the majors came during his playing days with the Mariners when he hit 20 or more home runs three years in a row from 1997 to 1999.
On July 17, 1999, Davis hit the first ever home run at Safeco Field.
