Sam Kim (Hangul: 샘 김, born February 19, 1998) is a Korean-American singer, songwriter and guitarist. He is known as the runner-up of SBS's K-pop Star Season 3. After signing an exclusive contract with Antenna Music, he officially debuted on April 10, 2016 on K-pop Star Season 5.[1]

Pre-debut
In 2014, Sam Kim finished as the runner-up on K-pop Star Season 3[2] and was eventually signed by Antenna Music CEO, Yoo Hee-yeol.[3]
2016: Debut
Sam Kim made his official debut with the release of the first part of his debut album My Name is Sam, which includes the pre-release single "Mama Don't Worry", on March 28, 2016.[4] On April 10, he released the second part of his debut album[5] and his debut single "No 눈치 (feat. Crush)". He had his official debut stage at the K-pop Star Season 5 finale stage on the same day.[6]
