The Stuttgart Daily Leader is a daily newspaper published five days a week in Stuttgart, in southern Arkansas. It is owned by Gatehouse Media, who acquired it from Hollinger in 1997.[1] The newspaper was established in 1885.
It primarily focuses on city news although it also covers Arkansas County news as well. Stuttgart, a predominantly agricultural community, is located on the Grand Prairie in Arkansas County. It began as a colony of German immigrants.[2]
