Tacora is a stratovolcano located in the Andes of the Arica y Parinacota Region of Chile. Bordering Peru, it is the northernmost volcano of Chile.[2] Tacora has a summit elevation of 5,980 meters above sea level, and rises 1,721 meters above the surrounding landscape.
