Tanya Justine Lehman Jarrett (born August 14, 1983) is an American model, actress, and beauty pageant titleholder from York, Pennsylvania. She was crowned Miss Pennsylvania USA 2006 and competed in the Miss USA 2006 pageant.
Career
In November 2000, Lehman placed second runner-up in the Miss Pennsylvania Teen USA 2001 pageant.[1] In 2003, she vied for the Miss Pennsylvania USA title and placed in the semi-finals.[2]
In late 2005, Lehman won the Miss Pennsylvania USA 2006 title.[3] Lehman represented Pennsylvania in the Miss USA 2006 pageant broadcast live from Baltimore, Maryland on April 21, 2006.[4][5] She was also one of 26 Miss USA Delegates who appeared on a Miss USA special edition of Deal or No Deal in April 2006.[6]
Lehman is active in community service and charitable organizations, earning the Duquesne University Volunteer Award and the Women's Leadership Society Award.[4][5][7] She has been working as a model/actress since 2006 and she has appeared in several national commercials and advertisements.[8]
Personal life and education
Tanya Justine Lehman was born on August 14, 1983, the daughter of Thomas and Jean Lehman.[4] She graduated from York Suburban Senior High School in 2001.[4] She later studied at Duquesne University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Management Systems in 2006.[5][7] In 2009, Lehman graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a masters of Public Health in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences.[9]
Lehman married professional hockey player Patrick Jarrett in May 2012.[10]
