Biography

For most of his early career, Bailey was an understudy to the regular long serving Wicket keeper, David Ripley. When David retired in 2001, Bailey took the first team duties for 3 years until Gerard Brophy arrived in 2004 and took his place due to him having the better Batting abilities. Toby was released at the end of that season.[1] During his time at Northants, he was involved in a bust up with team-mate Russell Warren, in which Russell started dating Bailey's fiancée, Warren was eventually forced out of the club after protests from other members of the squad.[2]

Toby has an ECB level 3 coaching certificate and is the former coach of the Argentinian cricket team[3]

He now coaches Scottish club side Carlton CC. [4]
