Vanglaini is a daily newspaper in Mizoram, northeast India, published in Mizo language.[1] It is registered with the Registrar of Newspapers for India (no. RNI 34227/79. : MZR/67/2012-2014). It is owned, edited, and published by K. Sapdanga. It remains the newspaper in Mizoram with the largest circulation.[2][3][4]
Mizo Award
Vanglaini has instituted the "Mizo Award" to any living Mizo or group of Mizos who have made exemplary achievements. The first award was given in 2011, and is scheduled to be given every three years. The award carries INR 100,000 with a trophy.[5][6]

- 2011, Brig T. Sailo, retired Indian Army officer and former Chief Minister of Mizoram.[7][8]
- 2014, Sângthankima, social worker and humanitarian who founded Thutak Nunpuitu Team.[6][9][10][11]
