Vaughn is a former settlement in Kern County, California.[1] It was located 5 miles (8 km) south of Isabella.[1]

A post office operated at Vaughn from 1897 to 1906, when the service was transferred to Bodfish.[1] The name honors Edward Vaughn, its first postmaster.[1]
