WPWC features "Take Action News with David Shuster" produced live from We Act Radio's studios in the Anacostia neighborhood of Southeast, Washington, D.C..[4] We Act's studio is located at 1918 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. SE, Washington, DC, 20020.
On May 6, 2012, WPWC added the The Union Edge, “Labor's Talk Radio,” to their line up.[5]
On June 28, 2012, Take Action News with David Shuster covered the Supreme Court decision on "Obamacare" live from the steps of the Supreme Court.[6] The coverage was broadcast on WPWC 1480AM and video livestreamed on WeActRadio.com.[7] David Shuster correctly reported the Supreme Court decision while other outlets like CNN and Fox reported the facts incorrectly.[8][9]
On September 16, 2012, WPWC started producing "Pivot Point with Maya Rockeymoore," a live public affairs radio show dedicated to aging issues and their intersection with politics, public policy, and popular culture.
On February 20, 2013, We Act Radio started producing the Rock Newman Show from their Anacostia studio.[10][11] On May 11, 2013, Cleveland resident Charles Ramsey appeared on the Rock Newman Show for a 90 minutes interview about how he aided in the escape of three women who had been held in captivity for years.[12][13]
