The Welsh Lacrosse Association (WLA) is the governing body for lacrosse in Wales. It is one of 14 full members of the Federation of International Lacrosse.[2][3] The WLA is responsible for international competitions, including the International Festival of Lacrosse at Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent county borough in 1992—the first Welsh men's international game for 85 years and the first to be played in Wales—and manages the Wales teams that play in the European and World Lacrosse Championship—Wales finished 13th in the 2006 World Lacrosse Championship. It also manages 'Centres of Development and Excellence' for the juniors' field game.[4][5][6]

The Welsh Lacrosse Association is based at Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan.[7]
