History
The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway built the depot and the adjoining Fred Harvey hotel, the Fray Marcos in 1908. A previous depot was built 1885 by the A&P Railroad; that depot was last used in 1904, and now serves as the Chamber of Commerce.
The current depot was taken over for private rehabilitation in 1989.[1]
