Zarząd Transportu Miejskiego (lit. Municipal Transport Authority, translated as Warsaw Transport Authority; ZTM) is the local authority controlled body managing all means of public transport in Warsaw. The public transport companies running the lines governed by the ZTM are:
- Tramwaje Warszawskie (Warsaw Tramways)
- Miejskie Zakłady Autobusowe (Municipal Bus Company)
- Metro Warszawskie (Warsaw Metro)
- Szybka Kolej Miejska
as well as three private companies providing bus service: PKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki, ITS Michalczewski and Mobilis. ZTM operates an integrated ticketing system based on proof-of-payment and a variety of single-use, time-limited, and long-term ticket types valid across tram, bus, rail, and metro lines.[1]
