2759 Idomeneus

Lua error in Module:Infobox at line 166: malformed pattern (missing ']'). 2759 Idomeneus is a Jupiter Trojan asteroid that orbits in the L4 Lagrangian point of the Sun-Jupiter system, in the "Greek Camp" of Trojan asteroids. It was named after the Greek hero Idomeneus, who fought during the Trojan War. It was discovered by Edward L. G. Bowell at the Anderson Mesa station of the Lowell Observatory on April 14, 1980.

Photometric observations of this asteroid during 1994 were used to build a light curve showing a rotation period of 32.38 ± 0.06 hours with a brightness variation of 0.27 ± 0.01 magnitude.[3]
