Traeger is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Queensland. It was created in the 2017 redistribution, and will be contested at the next Queensland state election.
It largely replaces areas from the abolished district of Mount Isa. It includes the councils of Burke, Doomadgee, Carpentaria, Croydon, Etheridge, Charters Towers, Mount Isa, Cloncurry, McKinlay, Richmond and Flinders.
From results of the last election, Traeger is estimated to be a safe seat for the Katter's Australian Party with a margin of 16.3%.[1]
