Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found.Llanddeiniolen is a community in the county of Gwynedd, Wales, and is 124.4 miles (200.2km) from Cardiff and 206.0 miles (331.5km) from London. The community also includes the village of Rhiwlas.[1][2] In 2011 the population of Llanddeiniolen was 4870 with 76.2% of them able to speak Welsh.[3]
The Welsh wrestler and harpist Marged ferch Ifan was buried here in 1783.[4]
Castell Llanddeiniolen motte and baile lies nearby. the name comes from St Deiniol (fl. 550?), a Welsh saint.
